Vintage 8’2” Bear Mirandon / Surfboards La Jolla Single-Fin
A rare piece of San Diego surf history, believed to date to the late ’60s. Long, flowing outline with a drawn-out pintail and thin, knifey rails from nose to tail.
Beautiful turquoise pinlines, classic Surfboards La Jolla logos, and a faint “Bear” marking alongside the stringer. The original translucent red single fin is in excellent condition.
The board is structurally solid, no buckles or delam- there are some minor dings that would need repair to be watertight, but the old glass will polish up well and the board has plenty of character.
A great piece for a vintage surfboard collection, tiki bar or restaurant display, or restore to ride.
