Selling my FireWire midlength surfboard in Seaside and Beyond 6’8” x 20 3/4” x 2 5/8” - 40.9L in LFT construction. This is a very rare custom color (maroon) that I paid over $1,000 for brand new. Minimal pressures, never any dings at all. 9 out of 10 condition. FCS 2 fin boxes (no fins included but I can throw in Machado Quads for an extra $100). Also I added a custom GryptaLite clear traction film that was an additional $100. I have never had to wax this board ever since I immediately got this GryptaLite clear traction. Although it did develop some bubbled up spots from heat in my garage, I still don’t even notice it when I’m in the water surfing since it’s not bubbled up under my chest or on the nose so it doesn’t bother me at all (visually) while I surf. It’s great since I never need to wax the board at all, nor do I ever have to worry about the wax melting in my board bag on a hot summer day. The traction is probably the best one that I have tried out compared to several other brands. It can be removed if you do not want it though and the board is in excellent shape underneath it.
From the GryptaLite website: THE DAYS OF WAXING YOUR BOARD ARE OVER. Gone are the days of messy, dirty, melted wax and slipping off your board in steep drops, barrels and power turns. GryptaLite high-performance clear traction film has been engineered by surfers, for surfers, providing board control you didn’t know was possible. GryptaLite’s waxless surfboard traction technology is water reactive and performs perfectly in the cold and warm waters. Say goodbye to gunky wax, and say hello to those top board color, tints, graphics, and wood grain. The best surf wax alternative for surfboards is finally here. GryptaLite clear surfboard traction films are designed to last the lifespan of your board and add a layer of protection. You can avoid using wax for grip with our clear surfboard traction pads. Since they are transparent, you’ll still see the design on your board. Stop fussing with messy wax that gets everywhere when you use clear traction pads.
Selling my board with the GryptaLite, without fins for $620 FIRM. If you need fins I have FCS2 Machado Quad Fins that are in excellent condition I can add them for and additional $100, or $720 total for board and fins. Lowballers will be ignored.
