Selling an absolute classic: a vintage 6'6" Channel Islands traditional retro twin keel fish, glassed/molded by Ocean Works. This is a premium, highly collectible late 90s/early 2000s shape featuring the iconic Al Merrick hex logos over a striking abalone shell background.
Dimensions & Design:
Specs: 6'6" x 23" x ~2.75" (Incredibly high volume, fast, and easy paddling).
Tail: Ultra-wide 13-inch swallowtail for maximum down-the-line speed.
Aesthetics: Stunning blue-to-white factory resin gradient tint. Because of the color tint, it shows virtually zero age yellowing.
Condition:
Top Deck: Exceptional condition. Zero visible pressure dings on top. Structurally immaculate.
Bottom & Rails: Minimal pressure marks on the bottom. A few older dings on the bottom and side rails have been professionally repaired and color-matched to the gradient. They are completely flush, 100% watertight, and barely visible.
Fins: Complete with original Al Merrick fiberglass keel fins set back 7 inches from the tail tips into early-generation dual-tab Futures boxes.
This is a beautiful, ready-to-surf mid-length alternative or a prized wall-hanger for a collector.
