Selling a classic Channel Islands "The Rookie" high-performance shortboard. This is an awesome, fast, and highly responsive step-up or daily driver for powerful waves. Shaped with the sleek, high-performance pro-tour dimensions of the early 2010s.

Model: The Rookie (Al Merrick)

Dimensions: 6’0” x 18 1/4” x 2 1/8”

Volume: Approx. 24.5L – 25.0L (thinner, high-performance foil)

Fin Setup: Futures (Thruster / 3-fin setup - fins included)

Traction: Includes a tail pad in good condition

Condition: Used but structurally solid. Has typical heel dents on the deck and normal cosmetic pressure spots from regular use. A minor ding on the nose area has been professionally repaired/sealed and is watertight (see photos). Repairs on the bottom and rail as well, water tight.

Great board for a lighter surfer, a teen moving up to a high-performance shortboard, or anyone looking for a reliable board when the waves pump.
