Vintage ACE Surfboards “6’ Six Shooter DT” – Hand-Shaped by Albert Elliott – Serial #99807

Here’s your chance to own an authentic ACE Surfboards “6’ Six Shooter DT”, individually hand-shaped by respected San Diego surfboard shaper Albert “Ace” Elliott.

After finding this board, I contacted Ace by email, and he confirmed that he personally shaped it approximately 20 years ago. His response was:

“Pretty good find. I made that at South Coast approximately 20 years ago. They ride really good. Hope you have the missing fins because the LOKBOX replacement fins are hard to find. I had custom templates made for the fins I used. Maybe Bird has something or Coconut Peet.”

This is a genuine custom hand-shaped board—not a mass-produced production model. It features the older LOKBOX fin system, which Ace noted uses custom fin templates. If you’re looking for replacement fins, he recommended checking with Bird or Coconut Peet, as LOKBOX fins have become difficult to find.

The board shows normal pressure dents and cosmetic wear consistent with a quality board that’s been surfed and enjoyed. It’s a fantastic rider, collectible, or display piece with verified history directly from the shaper.
