Design Brief

My friend requested a small wave performance shortboard inspired by a thumb tail CI Dumpster Diver 2 with some minor mods. Deep Single Concave. Flat tail rocker for drive.

Nose Rocker: 4 9/16"

Tail Rocker: 1 13/16"

Construction Specs

PU Blank + Epoxy Resin = "PE"

Blank: PU Arctic Foam Yellow Density (Light), Black Stringer

Resin: Optically Brightened Epoxy

Deck: 4 oz E Glass + 4oz S Glass (extra strength)

Bottom: 4 oz E Glass

Not a surfboard brand anymore, just a few friends who like making boards. Designed, shaped, and glassed by some of the best surfboard builders in the industry who may have also made a board you already own...

However, mistakes happen.

FACTORY SECOND

Right Fin Angle 1/16" Too Straight

That would increase drive on the toe side for a regular footer and slightly extend the toe side turning radius. It actually sounds interesting to try intentionally.... Fin ASYM. I think the board will still work good and depending on who you are you may not even notice. If you read this far I would consider buying it back if it's not working for you.
