5'10" Fineline VeeBee shaped by Brian Hilbers in good condition
5'10" x 21 1/4” x 2 7/8”
From Brian:
'Obviously, a variant of the GeeBee. The difference is in the tail: it stays wider in the back third, and corners into a narrower tail block, more like Velo, hence the name. Bottom-wise, it also goes into a firm Vee in the tail, with a rocker kink. Otherwise, this board has the same rocker, bottom, and committed hull rail as the GeeBee. But with this VeeBee, I've opened up the fin options. Both options can be ridden as single fins (of course), but by using standard 2-plug FCS for the side boxes, two different fin setups can go down. One would be the classic GeeBee/MP one-plus two setup (bites in back plug, flex fin forward in box, all aligned). This setup is the classic for more committed rail turns. The other more tail-friendly option is a two-plus one setup (bites in front plug, shorter more-raked fin back in finbox)'
Wide, flat, s-deck, rolled bottom, it's a blade AND it's fast. Hard to find, especially in good condition - minimal signs of wear, no repairs. Fins and/or bag can be discussed for a few dollars more.
Prefer to sell but will entertain trade offers for other hulls in similar condition from the usual suspects: Spence, Klaus, Liddle Designs, a shorter Vaquero, a Fineline egg in the 7' range, a Grote Opal...
