5'10" Abalone

LIKE NEW! This is the original board in a collaboration between Seagull Surfboards and One Drop, SD after many years together since the 1990s, handshaped by the LEGENDARY OG himself, John Holly.

The "ABALONE" is a modern take on Holly's original summer fish, circa 1976, as a quad fin. It is not widely known, but John was shaping and revolutionizing the surfboard industry with this board, and right on the heels of Steve Lis, as they were pumping out the newest and most cutting edge "FISHes" at the same time back in the early/mid 1970's. This board pays homage to the legendary shaper and the waves and locale in which it was made and NOW named for... John was one of the top Master Shapers at G&S before breaking off and starting his own SEAGULL Surfboards Label 50 years ago!

This was completed and picked up in April. Only a few months old and only ridden a handful of times... super smooth and fun
